amoeba music has launched their green campaign which will work closely with non-profits such as rainforest action network, sierra club los angeles chapter and conservation international.
they plan to create awareness for the issues addressed by these groups and by raising funds through in-store donations, outside events and saturday auctions. you can also pick up compact flourescent lightbulbs at the hollywood store, fill out a ca voter registration form (deadline is oct. 23rd people!), along with that you-can't-live-without-treasure-ceedee that you discover in the used section.
